Comment: This book really helps you understand the material covered in the book. It has the answers shown in a "how to" way. My suggestion: First actually attempt the problem in the text book. After trying to solve it, THEN look at the answer. Only that way will you actually learn from mistakes (or help prove you know how to do the problem!).

Comment: I bought this text thinking it would also have the homework problems with answers. The text contains only answers, and they didn't seem any different from the answers in the Appendix of Stewart's textbook. I had taken Calc 1 and 2 a few years previously, and had to have the current homework problems. The chapters and sections didnt exactly coincide with Stewart's text, which was confusing.

Comment: This answer key is pretty good. They do skip a step or two in some of the problems. That can some times throw you off. However, as long as you can do Cal. I, and II you should not have problems with this key.

Comment: Confusion??!! You say this solutions guide is a students guide but yet at the same time you say it has all the answers to include the evens? Isn't that the teachers guide??? I am looking for the one with both the even and odd soulutions for chapters 12-18 (multivariable) of the 5th ed. calc book by stewart (the black book)
